MICROQUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, TIME, CONVENIENCE
In modern conditions of rapid development and change of technologies, there is an urgent need
to update and form new competencies for both students studying in the framework
of formal education and for workers in the professional field of activity, taking into
account the real need for such competencies. As noted in the recently adopted
Kazakhstan Concepts of lifelong learning "changing technological processes
and the emergence of new occupations require absolutely new skills and qualifications of the workforce,
which, accordingly, dictates the need, in addition to improving the system of training
young personnel, the development of continuing education to improve the skills
of the existing workforce" [1].
In this paper, the practice of inclusion in the educational process is studied
microqualifications representing a certain set of knowledge, skills and competencies
obtained at the end of a short period of training, allowing you to perform a specific
labor function in the system of production (technological) process [2].
Examples are given of how microqualifications are implemented in universities, educational platforms
and global companies.
