IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB 2.0 TOOLS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

This research was conducted in the academic year 2021-2022 at
the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Nur-Sultan in order to determine the views
of experienced teachers on the integration of Web 2.0 tools into the system of teaching
foreign languages. The participants of the experiment are students of the 2nd year of the Master's degree of the Eurasian
National University of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Participants were asked
to integrate and use Web 2.0 tools that they consider valuable and that
would fit exactly into the school curriculum, taking into account the specific needs of each
class. The list of typical Web 2.0 tools mentioned in the theoretical part of this
research paper was given to the participants at the beginning of the experiment so that the participants
could familiarize themselves with their main functions. According to the results of the questionnaire, Web 2.0 tools
They are generally considered to be a useful technology and have a valuable impact on the learning process due to their current and practical content. Overall, according to the study, the vast
majority of participants would strongly recommend integrating Web
2.0 tools into FLT to their colleagues and other teachers.
