METHODS OF DETECTION AND REMOVAL OF CONCEALED BORROWINGS IN ACADEMIC WORKS OF STUDENTS IN THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE

The article presents a critical review of modern methods of concealing borrowings in academic works of students in the Kazakh language. Three key directions are considered: semantic (paraphrasing, synonymizing, grammatical transformations), technical (hidden characters, substitution of Cyrillic letters with Latin ones, use of Unicode control characters), and structural (tables, schemes, images). Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the Kazakh language as an agglutinative language, which complicates the task of automatic plagiarism detection. Contemporary resources for hiding borrowing are analyzed. The authors propose methods for neutralizing such concealment, covering not only textual data but also tabular materials, as well as visual elements – diagrams and charts.
