This article presents an interactive module focused on autonomous work for teaching historical elements within the university course «History and Methodology of Mathematics». The results indicate that well-structured autonomous interaction can improve both cognitive and emotional outcomes when studying historical topics related to new trends in teaching. The article describes the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) - based tools for teaching fourth-year students. The learning model combines adaptive visualization, an intelligent training system (ITS), and sketch analysis using computer vision. The article presents a methodology for applying artificial intelligence to historical data. The use of interactive teaching methods increased the average student score from 5.2 to 6.4 . This is especially important in the training of progressive mathematics specialists.
