ON THE ISSUE OF FORMATION OF YOUTH CIVIC IDENTITY IN THE FORMAT OF THE HIGHER SCHOOL OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
The article consistently substantiates the atuality of increasing the role of higher education in
the formation of the civic identity of young people in Kazakhstan. The technologies
of civil education of university students are considered. Specific recommendations are formulated for
a practical solution to this problem. University work on the formation
of students' civic consciousness is associated with the re-evaluation of priorities and the improvement
of state educational policy. The development of civic consciousness of young
people is a super task of higher education. It is not just about the formation of the personal qualities of a Kazakhstani
student, which are important from the point of view of society, but rather about the perspective design of his social
status as an active participant in civil nation-building. This is especially true,
since the formation of student youth takes place in the conditions of a spiritual and moral
crisis in a multicultural social environment, which determines the improvement of the requirements
for communication interaction of members of Kazakh society, the development of pragmatic
skills of civic patriotism.
