This article is devoted to the issue of the use of the reflexive method in teaching a foreign language.
It is known that teaching a foreign language has different effective methods and one of them is the reflexive
method. This study expands our understanding of the need to use the reflexive method in
training. This study is aimed at analyzing the reflexive method in the linguistic and discursive behavior
of foreign-speaking students in the process of developing the ability to communicate orally and in writing in a foreign language. The authors
emphasize that it is reflection that helps in evaluating students and develops skills such as
self-assessment, mutual appreciation and interest in the language being studied. Reflection techniques help not only to get
ready-made information, but also to compare new information with previous materials. Lessons where used
the reflexive method is remembered by students and gives a good result. This article gives the full concept
of reflection, as well as types of reflection. Students doing reflection on their actions in the lesson will be able not only
to find out the gaps in their knowledge, but also to answer the question why it was difficult to work and what skills need
