Abstract

This article provides information and resources that can be used by teachers who are interested in integrating Service Learning elements into the educational process.  This article aims to explain the essence of learning through service to society for those teachers who have not previously encountered this concept, as well as attempts to analyze the results of research in this area. The theoretical review of the research material was carried out using closed foreign sources (access is provided only to teachers and students of the university), and can be useful for teachers and researchers who do not have access to resources, are interested in this problem and seek to adapt learning through service to society to the academic environment. In addition, we strive to provide information that will be useful for people involved in the promotion and comprehensive support of academic learning, as well as those interested in improving the quality of education. Attempts have been made to substantiate the effectiveness of using education through service to society, as well as cited sources for the Kazakh society. In addition, the information provided in this article may be useful to representatives of the management of educational institutions who are interested in spreading the elements of learning through service to society among teachers, students and public associations to improve the effectiveness of the educational process and develop personal skills of all subjects.
